Travel the World From Your Kitchen
Welcome
The CCB will raise funds under its Kitchens of the World™ cookbook program in an effort to aid in the much needed assistance to the Haitian Society for the Blind; and to people with vision loss in Haiti.
We have recently been informed that Dr. Michel Pean, President of the Haitian Society for the Blind, is unharmed, although his home and office have been damaged and many friends and family have lost relatives and neighbors.
Haiti is featured in the cookbook and a special Haiti page has been set up so the proceeds can be earmarked and dedicated to the project.
For a donation as low as $ 5.00 CDN the Haiti chapter can be downloaded specifically.
Canadian residents qualify for a tax receipt.

President's Message

Harold Schnellert, National President
I would like to welcome you to the web site of the Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB).
The CCB is an organization not FOR the blind but OF the blind. A board of directors who are blind and visually impaired governs the CCB, and as a result, there is a special sensitivity to the needs of the blind community.
To our present, new and potential members, the CCB offers assistance and opportunities to ensure a better quality of life. Remember, you can always reach me at my email address: CCB President for any comments and suggestions.
To our donors and partners and future ones as well, I would like to extend a very special thank you for participation with the CCB. We could not offer these vital and special programs without your help.
Once again, thank you for your support and faith in the CCB.
Yours truly,
Harold Schnellert
